Netscape 6 is one of many POP3/IMAP email clients available for the Windows OS. The basic setup instruction to work with email here are listed for you to use this email client.

From the Tasks menu, choose Mail. This will bring up the mail Inbox screen. From the Edit menu, choose Mail/News Account Settings from the Edit menu. This will bring up the Account Settings window. Click on the New Accounts button on the bottom left hand of the window. This will bring up the Account Wizard window. You will be presented with several screens. Screen 1: New Account Setup ISP or email provider: Chosen Click Next Screen 2: Identity Your Name: Your Name Email Address: Your Email Address Click Next Screen 3: Server Information Server Type: POP Mail Server General Tab Server Name: yoursite.com Server Type: POP3 User Name: Email User Name Remember Password: Check Pop Tab Leave message on server: (optional) Click OK Outgoing Mail Server Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: yoursite.com Outgoing mail server user name: Email User Name Click OK Congratulations, you've now setup Netscape 6 to use your email account. Repeat the above steps to setup further email accounts.

*After completing these steps you should be able to send and receive email via this account. If you can't send emails that means your ISP is most likely blocking your Outgoing Mail server port 25 (default). You can change that port to 26 if you have Linux hosting with us or to port 465 if you have Windows hosting with us.
