Eudora 5

Eudora 5 is one of many POP3/IMAP email clients available for the Windows OS. The basic setup instruction to work with email here are listed for you to use this email client.

 

From the Tools menu, choose Options... In the Options Information Box, complete the following:

Getting Started

Real Name: Your Name
Return Address: Your email address
Mail Server (Incoming): yoursite.com
Login Name: Email Username
SMTP Server (Outgoing): yoursite.com
Allow Authentication: Check

Checking Mail

Save Password: Check

Incoming Mail

Leaving Copy on Server: Check (if desired)

Sending Mail

Return Address: Return Address
Allow Authentication: Check

Congratulations, you've now setup Eudora 5 to use your email account. Repeat the above steps to setup further email accounts.


*After completing these steps you should be able to send and receive email via this account. If you can't send emails that means your ISP is most likely blocking your Outgoing Mail server port 25 (default). You can change that port to 26 if you have Linux hosting with us or to port 465 if you have Windows hosting with us.
